VIRGO FULL MOON 2025

Virgo Full Moon 2025

On March 14, 2025, we will experience a Full Moon in the sign of Virgo at 24°. 

We will go further into detail into the Lunar Eclipse in tomorrow's post.

Full Moon’s energies are about harvesting our efforts or the completion process of what was begun in the New Moon phase under the same sign (six months earlier).  An orb of 3° influence to any planet or important angle is used to verify if the New or Full Moon’s energies will have an impact in our charts.  Planets or angles within this 3° either by conjunction or opposition will be an important influence.  To a lesser degree, we can also use the Square, Trine and Sextile, but it should be noted that the Conjunction and Opposition have the greatest impact. 

In the case of this Virgo Full Moon, you are looking at an influence of between 21° to 27°.

A Full Moon in Virgo often has to do with service or in some cases health and our work.  Virgo seeks perfection in whatever it is trying to achieve and now will be the time to reap the rewards of the efforts we put into our objective.  If this influences your chart, you may be goal oriented and have pushed very hard to get recognition and there likely were no shortcuts available in the process. 

The houses involved in your astrology chart will define the areas of life involved. 

What was brought into motion now becomes visible and will have purpose.

The North Node as well as Saturn are within orb of this placement and these transiting influences will reflect what is needed to move ahead.  The North Node has to do with our path moving forward and there are times when other individuals come forward offering their advice especially if you have planets in the natal chart that are in opposition to this placement.  The North Node is at 27° in the sign of Pisces and Saturn is at 22° degrees also in Pisces.

The North node is often a favorable placement when in influence, and Saturn implies hard work, so disciplined effort will be a requirement.  Nothing comes easily or without diligent effort, and patience is often being taught in this process.  Some obstacles may be part of this equation due to Saturn’s involvement. The fact that Saturn is in opposition to the Moon may also mean that others stand in the way or at least seem to be in the way of your progress. 

They may be there to help the situation, but you may want to do everything yourself.  You may have put a lot of effort into this focus and what they recommend may not suit your intentions.  In some cases, someone who is in a position of authority might be hindering your advancement although working with them might lead to greater results in the long run. 

You can reap the rewards of this Virgo Full Moon 2025 if you have put forth the necessary effort in service, health or your work. You may have to involve others to make it happen.

URANUS SEXTILE NATAL MARS

It is well known in Astrology that Uranus and Mars do not work well together.  Both planets can indicate sudden and erratic, aggressive actions based on the desire to create change or the need to take action because, in many cases, something is standing in our way forward. 

Uranus Sextile Natal Mars

The energy of Uranus and Mars together can present itself as an accident especially when working with sharp tools, equipment or faced with little to no alternatives.

When speaking of Natal Mars, the planet that is being stimulated by transiting Uranus, the houses involved will be very significant in determining what areas of life are being affected. Although aggressive action is often part of the profile, there will be lessons learned from this experience and in some cases the actions taken will move you in the direction that you need to go.  You can become awakened to the area of life that needs change, and, over time, understand why you did what you did or alternative, why situations became apparent and that these conditions are what made you do what you either had to do or will do.

Uranus always takes you where you need to go usually because the current conditions in life no longer suit your evolutionary growth or path in life.  Uranus awakens you to new horizons, pushes you to change direction or move in a new direction and stimulates action. 

Mars pushes us into action and often in abrupt manners or without thought or due diligence. This rush ahead can cause misfortunes as we did not take the necessary time to weigh out our options before jumping.

In most cases, the sextile aspect (60° of separation between planets or between planets and angles in the chart) is considered a positive aspect bringing forth opportunities and with a personal push, we can gain on some level.  Most sextiles require us to act to reap rewards but, in this case, not on impulse.  Without our interaction, in most cases, nothing will materialize.

There likely will be much learned from our experience and if this aspect is approaching, being aware of the destructive or impending potential that can exist without proper preparation is important.  In some cases, a time for preparation is not taken because it happens so suddenly without warning.  However, if you do have time to prepare and digest what is in front of you, be careful. Do not operate a vehicle when angry, avoid confrontation, and don’t make hasty decisions.

Uranus sextile natal Mars has great potential if you do your due diligence and use caution. Remember, however, you must act to utilize the energy available.

NEPTUNE IN OPPOSITION TO NATAL VENUS

Neptune in Opposition to Natal Venus

At the time this article was written (March 2025) transiting Neptune is in the sign of Pisces.  It moves into Aries for the first time on March 31, 2025 and then returns to Pisces on October 23 before moving once again into Aries on January 27, 2026, where it will remain for some 15 years.

Those that have their Venus in the last degrees of Virgo or the first degrees of Libra will have this opposition influencing their charts. Neptune in Opposition is often referred to as a challenging aspect to deal with.  The most important factor is that you must make sure that you are seeing things as they truly are.  The mind can play games with you, or in this case, the heart can play games with you as quite often Venus and Neptune speak of a love interest.

Oppositions often suggest that other people are involved with this influence. Perhaps someone (possibly female) has their hand in what is unfolding.  They could have you by the heart strings and cause some confusion about a relationship, if this is what this is about.  The houses involved will clarify the area of life being affected in your chart.

You may feel infatuated by this person and put them on a pedestal.  Once this aspect passes, you will have a much clearer picture of what this relationship entails and what the person is really like.  This is not to say that you are not seeing this person clearly, only that there is often a tendency for that to happen.  Other factors in the chart might prove otherwise. “Are you falling in love?”, or “Does this relationship seem too good to be true?” are questions you might want to ask yourself.

Since Venus can be about love and affection, the social scene and/or finances, these areas will or might also be part of the picture.  You may find that under this influence you are invited to more social gatherings where you will meet up with other individuals that often have something that will entice you or be brought to your attention. 

If finances are involved, once again, a deal you are presented with might seems too good to be true and this just might be true. Again, the whole chart will tell the story, and the natal potential will have to be reviewed. 

With Neptune in opposition to natal Venus, others will likely be involved. Make sure you see things clearly before acting. You may want to consult a trusted friend for their opinion.
