IT'S OKAY TO BE WRONG

There are times in life when we are sure about something and then only to find out that we were mistaken.

 

It may be difficult to admit when we are wrong; but we are human, and we do and will make mistakes.  Don’t hold on to this. 

 

Our ego can be quite disruptive and create arguments and difficult situations. It takes a bigger person to admit that they are wrong, as this person has learned to control their ego and accepts human error as a teacher, nothing more. We can move beyond our ego’s influence and find peace. It’s okay to be wrong!

Some individuals unfortunately continue the debate or argument even after they realize they were mistaken.  They struggle with their ego without recognizing that it is this very thing (ego) that is tormenting them.

 

It’s important to admit that we are human and make mistakes.  This does not make us any less of a person or a failure in any way.  Admitting an error actually reflects maturity.

 

We are all human and will make mistakes or believe we are right from time to time and then find out that we were wrong. Mistakes are part of the journey. These mistakes help us to learn and grow.
