Transits that will affect Sun in Scorpio

Today, we would like to touch on some strong transits that will affect Sun in Scorpio

Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are all transiting in the late degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, & Taurus respectively. Therefore, these planets will be affecting all those with their Sun in the final degrees of Scorpio. 

This would have been and likely still is a time when there are great changes and powerful energies taking place in life.  The aspects will be affecting anyone with their Sun from 25 to 29° and for those with their Sun in the immediate earlier degrees, you have already gone through what we are about to touch on.

Transiting Pluto and Uranus are both in earth signs; therefore, they are making an opposition from Uranus to the Sun and a sextile from Pluto to the Sun.  Once Pluto moves into Aquarius (mid-November) and stays there without retrograde motion, it will be making a square for those with their Sun in the early degrees of Scorpio. 

Once Neptune moves into Aries which takes place into 2025, it will be making a quincunx to those with their Sun in the early degrees of Scorpio.  These two planets will already be having their energies felt for these people but will intensify as time progresses.

Pluto, a powerful agent of transformation, suggests massive changes of a positive nature and will bring opportunities for those with their Sun in the later degrees of Scorpio. For those with their Sun in the early degrees of Scorpio, the energies are quite different as this aspect is now a square, while the earlier aspect with those in the later degrees is a sextile. 

The square presents us with obstacles to overcome in the areas of life indicated by the house positions of transiting Pluto and the Sun.  This would likely not be an easy time and change, although quite disruptive and often unavoidable, will, over time, put you where you need to be.  It is important to recognize this the energies in place in the initial stages are often not very pleasant.  Change is now a requirement from deep within  and what you used to hold on to or have will make a giant shift and a new idea or concept or experience takes hold.  It will likely take about 2 years to fully understand the reason behind what takes place and the acknowledgement that this is favorable over the long haul.

Neptune in the final degrees of Pisces making a Trine to those with their Sun in the later degrees of Scorpio suggests that although things may not be too clear as to where you might be heading, the changes that affect you will be advantageous as time passes.  There may be more insight into the mystical side of life and an unlocking of the door to clearer insight and spirituality of a positive sort. Things just seem to flow and both Pluto and Neptune are making easy and good energies for those with their Sun in the later degrees of Scorpio. 

Uranus is also a powerful agent of change but not as dynamic and absolute as Pluto. With Uranus in the last degrees of Taurus making an opposition for those with their Sun in the final degrees of Scorpio, this will likely bring changes and often these changes have to do with relationships and the energy is often brought on by others.  Uranus, although it can act in unusual ways and bring sudden and unexpected change, fosters change that is needed because whatever was in place now no longer serves a viable purpose.  The soul is asking that you make changes and has likely provided you with a little push in the past, but you may not have reacted accordingly so now its energies are much more abrupt and insistent.

SUN IN TAURUS TRANSITS 2024

For those with their Sun in the sign of Taurus, this next few months should be eventful.

What are the Sun in Taurus 2024 transits?

Transiting Uranus, Jupiter, Venus and Mercury are either already in the sign of Taurus or will soon be going into the sign of Taurus. 

Uranus and Jupiter are tied together in tight proximity throughout April 2024.  They form a conjunction at 21° so those with their Sun in Taurus and in close conjunction to this degree will experience Jupiter and Uranus forming a tight aspect in the natal chart.  Check the house position to get a clearer understanding of the area of life involved.

Uranus speaks of change and often disruption, although the change it suggests are what is required as things no longer suit your evolutionary purpose.  This change can come when you least expect it, out of the blue and may disrupt the normal flow of life.  You may have had a few hints along the way suggesting that you needed to make certain changes and if you decided not to listen to the nudge then perhaps the energies of Uranus become more profound and are often uncomfortable. 

Jupiter, on the other hand, adds to what is taking place but often suggests that what is unfolding is quite positive even if it does not look that way.  Jupiter brings good luck and fortunate conditions, but don’t forget its energies are mixed with Uranus which calls for change at almost any cost.  Uranus is known as the awakener and does just that.  It awakens you to the obvious and challenges you to move forward in unexpected ways.  Jupiter will enhance this situation and quite likely make it bigger than life.  The indicators are that it will be a change for the better but not without some drastic changes at the same time which may be uncomfortable.  Jupiter expands what it touches.

Venus moves into Taurus at the end of April and takes approximately 3 weeks to go through the whole sign.  Its impact will be less impressive but love and affection may be part of what it brings with it. It may also bring more social experiences which may involve a young female in one manner or another.  If, for example, the energies are in the fifth house, your children might be involved, or a love affair takes off.  Venus will join in on the energies of Jupiter and Uranus from about April 17 through to about April 27.

Mercury moves into Taurus in the middle of May (after an Aries retrograde cycle ending April 26) and finishes off its Taurus tour in early June.  Sometimes Mercury would give you lots to think about especially if you moved ahead with goals prior to it returning to direct motion.  In many cases, there may be disruptions to plans or slowdowns during its retrograde cycle, but this positioning has to line up with your natal chart,, and for it to have a profound impact Mercury should also be retrograde in your birth chart.  One way or another, Mercury will make you think things through and focus on actions that might have unfolded or on what your next step will be.

TRANSITING URANUS SEXTILE NATAL VENUS

With this aspect you can expect changes in the areas of love and affection, socializing, and finances. Uranus brings changes that are required to move you forward. Sometimes these changes are sudden and completely unexpected while at other times you “feel” or know that the potential is there for things to make a move.

Uranus acts in quick and unusual ways bringing about an awakening of sorts to what it touches. It invites “new” to situations that require change. When Venus is involved perhaps this could involve a love affair that you never saw coming, or perhaps you have been friends and now the relationship goes to the next level. You may feel ill-prepared and may never have considered this individual on a love relation level. Perhaps things just happen out of the blue and one thing led to another. Now it may seem as though this was a fated encounter.

Venus, definitely speaks of love and affection, can also refers to a younger woman. It is likely females that we are speaking of whether this be you or it is speaking of a female counterpart. Perhaps your friends set up a social gathering where you met. Perhaps you were celebrating something, and this individual connected with you.

As mentioned, this can also speak of your finances and beautiful objects. Perhaps on a whim you decided it was time to buy a new car or perhaps you decided it was time to sign a mortgage.

Watch for Uranus being retrograde as this can restrict its energies. Review what you might want to buy or where you place your attention at this time, and if possible, wait until the retrograde period is completed.

E.g., if T Uranus is conjuncting the MC as it sextiles your Venus, you get a raise or you become more social with those that you work with (this is more likely if Uranus or Venus is in the sixth house). The sextile is an opportunity aspect, and the energies are ripe for more positive potential to arrive. You should review your objectives, especially with love, affection and your finances, then take advantage of your options. Make sure you check out your full chart before you advance, as any challenging influences can hinder things or influence bad decisions.
