The aspect of Jupiter in sextile with the Sun is one of the most awesome placements we can have in a birth chart. By transit it usually suggests opportunities at least while the aspect is in force. In the natal chart the opportunities represented by this fortunate aspect can be long lasting depending on which planet is aspecting this placement by transit or progression.

Remember the natal placements are stationary and they need stimulation by transit to create energy. Once activated through transit or progression this placement suggests that opportunities for growth and expansion are highlighted. The closer the natal aspect is to being direct (sextiles are 60°) the more powerful its expression.

Those with this placement (depending on what other natal positions are involved as well as the transiting planet involved) experience good luck, a feeling that nothing can go wrong, an opportunity to explore life’s potential and linkage towards opening channels to life’s path.

It also speaks of general good health and for those with health challenging conditions, a better healing environment.

The Sun has to do with who we are internally and with Jupiter in sextile to the Sun this often indicates an expansive character with an expression of good fortune, greater potential, and a general feeling that life will always work out.

Because of this attitude, these people often move in the direction of their choice and often in a growing direction. Many have a happy-go-lucky attitude and nearly always believe that something good is right around the corner. Even when life is challenging, they know that lessons are not always easily. They wrap their arms around adversity knowing that something important needs to be learned.

Those with a tight sextiles between the Sun and Jupiter often seem as though things just falls into their lap. This aspect is like a grand trines where self-sufficiency seem to prevail. Much depends on the planets aspecting this position but the most challenging is transiting Saturn making a square to one planet and an inconjunct to the other.

Those with this position in their charts should use these energies to the best of their capabilities. Those that do not have these placements can use the energies of Jupiter when in transit to expand their possibilities and remaining open to its potential when it comes their way.

We will experience a Wolf Full Moon @ 16° Cancer on January 6 @ 6:07 p.m EST. This Full Moon falls in the 2nd decant adding a hint of Scorpio to the energy. It is in opposition to Mercury @ 17° Capricorn and is sextile Uranus at 15° Taurus. Check your chart to see if this Full Moon affects you. The more it influences the natal chart, the more influence affecting your life.

Full Moons are a culmination point of what was set in motion 6 month earlier during the New Moon in the same sign. The energy we put into a goal is directly related to the harvest of the fruits of our labour. This is a time to harvest, re-evaluate our ambitions and calculate what still needs to be done or to refurbish our goals.

When in the sign of Cancer (with some Scorpio influence), this likely has to do with family, friends, the home environment, and any nurturing that might be included at this time. “Looking after” might be a good phrase to simplify what this is about. Some re-establish a home environment that perhaps was not in place prior to this time. Family members may move in or some may decide to move out. It may be a time when we revisit our parent’s situations and make decisions based on their personal needs. Often time the parents or children are part of what is unfolding.

With Scorpio we may need to dig deep and face some hidden matters that should be dealt with. Sometimes reaching within is what is required. There is often more that goes on than what is revealed on the surface. We may not like what we see.

The opposition from Mercury may suggest that we need to make plans or take needed action. Making decisions based on what is required even though emotionally challenging may be required. The opposition often suggests that other people are involved. It might not be your decision that counts but that they are making suggests that you likely need to listen to.

The sextile from Uranus suggests that what is taking place may not have been anticipated (unexpected) but action is required. A move in a new direction may be needed. The unexpected should be expected with Uranus.

There is no denying life is full of challenge. We reach turning points when our lives move in complete new directions which alters our path significantly. Some of these are extremely difficult while others are liberating. Regardless of our judgement on how things may pan, these experiences move us out of situations that no longer suit us. They place us in new and at times unknown directions.

Some experiences create fear, anxiety, and worries, while others bring relief and tranquility. The negative connotations require effort on our part and many of us spend countless hours pondering and worrying because we fear the unknown.

We cannot escape our life’s experiences, nor should we. We must go through these events and learn from them. Trying to ignore these events pushes us further into the issue. They must be dealt with accordingly and accepted as part of the journey. We must be open to the lesson and then eventually move past it. There is not point in holding on to hurt, blaming others or taking on blame. Letting go is the best option after learning the lesson.

Hardship is more a mental resistance than a physical experience. We can get so caught up in our thoughts that we do not allow ourselves to recover from the experience. We deserve the ability to live and no matter what took place, it does not define us. Deal with the matter and feel what you need to feel. Emotions cannot be ignored nor can the reality of the situation, but they can be accepted and then released.

Find meaning in each situation. Learn the lesson. Be at peace with yourself. No outside influences can make you recover from any situation. Only you can make you get back on your feet and move forward. People can influence and support us but ultimately we do our own personal work.

Transiting Mercury, Venus, and Pluto all make conjunctions at some point for those with their natal Sun in Capricorn.

Mercury moved into Capricorn December 7 and goes retrograde at 24° on Dec 29. It remains in retrograde until Jan 18 when it goes direct once again at 8° Capricorn and moves into Aquarius approx. February 12/23.

Venus moved into Capricorn on December 11 until January 4 when it moves into the sign of Aquarius, while Pluto has been in Capricorn in the later degrees for some time, sitting around the 27/28°.

The conjunction between Mercury & the Capricorn Sun are tied to reasoning regarding your life’s passage, your goals and objectives, your inner view of yourself and how you will achieve what you are setting out to do. While Mercury is in retrograde you should be laying out these plans to move forward after Mercury goes direct. Retrograde cycles for Mercury have to do with planning but not moving ahead. The direct movement of Mercury suggests moving ahead. Much will depend on which houses are involved.

Venus and the Sun in conjunction in Capricorn is a favourable position although Capricorn does have some trouble expressing the love and affection connected to Venus. Capricorn hampers but does not suggest that love and affection are not part of the process only that it is harder to maneuver ahead. Venus while in Capricorn can also have something to do with your objectives regarding financial investment or the work it may take to achieve your financial rewards especially related to hard work and disciplined effort.

Pluto in Capricorn conjuncting your Sun has to do with changing direction, or some difficulties tied to what you must do to move towards new or changed inner attitudes or your goals and intentions. Pluto tends to overthrow anything that no longer suits your evolutionary path and the Sun is directly attuned to the path in life. As you can imagine this can be a massive adjustment due to an all or nothing approach from Pluto. Pluto changes things because they need to change but for something to change something is outdated & no longer serving a real, viable purpose.

Towards the end of December these three energies come together forming a much tighter conjunction and the combination of these energies for anyone having their Sun in the later degrees of Capricorn this can be life changing. No halfway measures and life’s direction may go through a substantial change because there is a need to move in that direction. Check the house position and the aspects from other natal and transiting planets to get the full picture.

The Sun moves from the Mutable, fire sign of Sagittarius into the Cardinal earth sign of Capricorn on December 21, 2022. Mercury is in Capricorn (going retrograde on December 29) and moving into Aquarius on Feb 12/23. Venus is in Capricorn until Jan 4/23. Pluto is in Capricorn moving into Aquarius briefly from Mar 24-June 12/23, and then returning to Capricorn until Jan/24.

Mercury, Venus and in particular Pluto can have a profound effects on anyone especially those with their Natal Sun lining up with these transiting planets. Any planet in the natal chart in Capricorn can be impacted by these planets. Planets in other signs can also be impacted depending on the aspect between these areas and the transits in place.

Most individuals with their Sun in Capricorn are hard working and driven individuals especially pertaining to achievements. They can be quite ambitious and very serious in their approach to obligations and reaching their objectives. Many become leaders in their chosen field and although driven for success they are cautious in their approach. They do not like to rush into things and know that it takes time to achieve what they wish to move towards.

Their ruling planet is Saturn and Saturn has been known as the task maker of the Zodiac, challenging their objective and this can lead to feelings of despair or negativity if they consider themselves a failure with their goals. They are comfortable with hard work and discipline and respect their elders especially those that have gone before them and laid the path forward. They also know that hard work will eventually be rewarded even if it takes a long time to achieve what they set out to do.

Depending on where their Moon is placed by sign and house many of these individuals have a difficult time releasing emotion. Some consider Capricorns cold emotionally but this is not the case. Their emotions run deep although it may be difficult for them to find release or even to express how they feel.

There may be stumbling blocks in the way to success, and they truly believe in the tried, tested and true. In many cases nothing comes easily to these individuals but over time they can move up that mountain just as sure footed as the mountain goat which is their symbol. The thinking process, evaluation techniques, mental aptitude and outlook all come under the influence of the planet Mercury. Mercury comes alive when it is in aspect or being aspected by transits or progressions. It needs this to become stimulated and the planet and aspect it is receiving define how the mind is currently functioning, although its natal positioning is far reaching.

Jupiter the planet of expansion, growth, good fortune, and life’s philosophical teachings in trine stimulating N Mercury can provide intuitive perception and optimal mental reasoning abilities. During its trine to Mercury the mind is alive with ideas that seem optimistic and favourable.

Uranus takes 84 years to complete its transit around the Zodiac. It moves through a sign in approximately 7 years. Uranus is known as the awakener and is the ruling planet of the sign Aquarius. It is an outer planet (with Neptune and Pluto) and its effects can be quite life altering while it is in aspect to natal positions.

With natal positioning, Uranus often speaks of the need to be different, the need for revolution or change and often speaks of change and new directions through different ways of communicating when connected to Mercury, the planet of the mind. Uranus will awaken and stimulate uniqueness and offer different perspectives through dialogue and its ability to stimulate the mind in new directions.

The trine itself speaks of easy flow and the ability to move in new directions and change opinion in dynamic ways. The mind is stimulated and often ahead of its time when it comes to revelations and new concepts. The mind can be considered somewhat genius and distinctive and communication can be uplifting and original. People with this may be considered somewhat eccentric, and they think outside of the box. Those with their Sun in the very early degrees of Sagittarius will not only be experiencing their Sun conjunction their natal position (Birthday) but will also be experiencing a New Moon at roughly the same time. A New Moon Solar chart would be very interesting for these people as it would mark a new beginning and define the year ahead.

A Sagittarius New Moon marks a time of new beginnings related to exploration and potential growth and expansion. This is due to the trine this New Moon makes with Transiting Jupiter. This can be a very fortunate time if the natal chart agrees, although even harsh aspects in the natal chart still offer insight and growth through hard work (Saturn) change and evolution (Uranus), transformation and an end to conditions that no longer suit us (Pluto) and spiritual enlightenment and evolution (Neptune). New beginnings are on the horizon dealing with adventure, knowledge, and growth through exploration and perhaps some much needed freedom. This would be a great time for travel.

Most of us will have some influence although not as powerful as those that have planets either conjunct or in opposition to this placement (0-4° Sag or Gemini) and/or. with squares, trines and sextiles to this placement of the new moon. Know that better things regardless of how things might look now are on the horizon and you are beginning a new cycle at this point.

Philosophy might be of interest at this time. Those interested in cultural religion and foreign cultures can experience a door opening into these fields. Venus moved into the sign of Sagittarius on November 15; Mercury went into the same sign on November 16 and the Sun moved into Sagittarius on November 21, 2022. Venus and Mercury are considered personal planets and move through a sign quickly often about 3 weeks unless they move into their retrograde cycles. The Sun is a luminary and is tied closely to our inner self, our goals and aspirations along with our life’s route through personal expression.

Some say that Venus represents the feminine principle, and it speaks of love and affection, gentleness and being social. This of course is not to say that men, represented by the energies of Mars, do not express these qualities or yearnings. Mercury is associated with communication, open dialogue and the act of teaching or learning through mental processing.

Sagittarius has to do with freedom and the want for exploration with teachings of a high order often through life’s experience. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter (in Pisces during this time frame) adds a square to the energy of these planets and the Sun. Squares often represent some form of challenge although with Jupiter the challenge can be overcome without too much difficulty.

When you put these three energies together including Jupiter you can speak of the need for open conversation of a higher order often related to religious tones, life’s philosophies or a need for universal collaboration seeking positive elements. Love and affection rank high on the agenda as does honest dialogue which can open the doors to expanded realizations from a more progressive or constructive perspective.

If used properly these energies can formulate an action plan that can lead to more social acceptance, an easier route to happiness and fortunate outcomes through diligent efforts. For those with planets in conjunction, opposition, squares, trines and sextiles to these positions (Sagittarius) it will be up to them to help maneuver themselves in turn assisting the same movement in an outward expression so that peace and harmony can follow.

On November 22, 2022 the Sun moves from Scorpio a fixed water sign to Sagittarius a mutable, fire sign. Sagittarius is ruled by the most fortunate of planets, Jupiter which has to do with expansion, growth, and in general good luck. Jupiter is known as the great benefic and wherever Jupiter is found in the natal chart there is potential for expansion and growth. Jupiter promotes opportunities mainly due to its relationship with optimism.

Those with their Sun in the sign of Sagittarius or their rising sign or have several planets in the sign of Sagittarius have desire for adventure in life. They love the outdoors and are drawn to wide open places. They feel free when in nature and many love the idea of travel. They are the roamers of the Zodiac and some never find a place to lay their hat permanently. There is a degree of restlessness although not like Gemini, but Sag wants to explore all that life offers.

Sagittarians seek knowledge sometimes through religion or travel. They truly believe that there is always something viable and better just around the corner even when they are caught up in life’s challenges. Things seem to move in the right direction, even if it is only in their eyes. They are the eternal optimists, and we could all learn to adapt to this type of energy and thought process.

Sagittarians speak their mind and often find themselves with their “foot in mouth”. They need to think before they speak although what they offer is often truth but it may not be in a gentle manner. They are a fire sign and fire always wants to move forward and at times acting on impulse. If you want to explore life with all its intricacies and have some fun especially in foreign cultures, you might want to hook up with someone who has strong Sagittarius energies. The 9th house is naturally ruled by Sagittarius, and it speaks clearly about travel, philosophy and religion.

November 16/17 T Venus and Mercury move into the sign of Sagittarius although they move too quickly to meet up with the T Sun. Venus and Mercury are in conjunction in Sag for the remainder of November and early December. For those with their Sun in Sagittarius this conjunction effects their chart at some point depending on their Sun’s degree. The house placement will be very important as this will be the area of life which has these energies.

Venus and Mercury together can speak of a love of socializing and communication. When they line up with the Sun which has to do with our inner self, who we are & our goals in life, these areas will be stimulated. This can be a time of internal search and finding a clear understanding of the path ahead especially if your North Node is somehow linked to this position. You may want to join in with others to explore the great outdoors. You may want to explore religion especially the one that connects us all from a spiritual perspective.

You may find communication with a loved one very favourable at this time and it may open the door for further growth and expansion within that relationship, especially if this conjunction is found in the 5th, 7th or 1st house and in particular conjunct your Ascendant. The Sun, Venus and Mercury can certainly open doors, but you may have to allow this to happen. Sitting around and not using these energies will not move you ahead. T Saturn now in direct motion (November 2022) is making a square to T Uranus (still in retrograde motion until the end of November 2022). Its energy is weakening however and those that have felt this energy strong throughout October will be feeling a relief as time passes. Saturn in Aquarius @ 18° and Uranus in Taurus is the strongest and those with planetary positions around this degree will have these two energies affecting their chart. Much will depend on the aspects from these two transits to their natal planets. A conjunction to one of these planets will be very powerful.

Generally, Uranus pushing for change & Saturn resisting change can describe a world that is clinging to the past yet knowing that a new beginning is at hand. There will likely be struggles because although change is inevitable (Uranus is always working towards an evolutionary state) Saturn will delay what is needed and place restraints on the progress that is required.

Uranus is not comfortable in Taurus (its fall) and Saturn is not overly comfortable in Aquarius. Saturn will be moving into Pisces in the early spring of 2023. Saturn in Pisces although this would not be an overly comfortable placement, it can bring security into place where vagueness and uncertainty needs alignment. Saturn wants something that is reliable and secure and resists that which could be considered ambiguous or illusive. Saturn wants facts and steadiness, while Pisces can be anything but that. It seeks union with faith and spirituality.

Those with this square activated in their chart Saturn will restrict energies where Uranus pushes for change and advancement. Saturn wants things to remain the same, offering stability and the tried and tested. Uranus known as the awakener wants to move beyond what has become complacent for growth through change (at times sudden change is required).

Saturn in Aquarius suggests humanitarian concerns or group involvement pushing for grounding and security. Uranus wants to break free of any restrictions, to awaken to new possibilities and create positive change after deep reflective consideration. Perhaps there is an element of restraint or a need to get to the bottom of matters before pushing ahead. There will likely be elements that stand in the way of progress.

We should proceed with caution, not miss any steps, understand all the details and know which steps are best suited for advancement. The outcome will likely bring more stability after a time of restraint and a strong need to move through anything standing in the way. Squares are challenging but push you to work your way through hardship with enough challenge that you feel you must correct the situation so that you can move ahead.

Transiting Pluto (Nov/2022) is in Capricorn. It remains there until March 24/23, moving into Aquarius until June 11/23. On June 12 it returns to the sign of Capricorn until January 21/24. It makes one more entry into Capricorn in early September until November 20/24 when it moves into Aquarius for about 20 years.

T Pluto the planet of transformation and regeneration makes a square during its visit in Capricorn to those with their Moon in the later degrees of Libra and Aries. Squares indicate hardships often brought on through aggressive force due to the energies of Pluto. There are no halfway measures with Pluto and in many cases as it contacts planets it changes the area of life permanently determined by the house position. Much depends on the houses involved and how your natal Moon is aspected by natal positions and other transits.

Pluto suggests that transformations are a huge part of the process. When involved with the Moon the emotions are priority and nurturing and caring for family members may be part of the process. It can take up to one year before we clearly understand why these influences took place. Ultimately Pluto bring change where change is needed. Although you may feel at the mercy of life during these times, Pluto often initiates these types of changes with or without your approval, because these events need to occur as old conditions no longer suits your overall development.

When the natal Moon is in Libra squared by T Pluto (23-29° during this period) this may have something to do with justice and fairness involving relationships. Things may have been out of balance and harmony missing. Alignment becomes necessary and changes take place because things are not working properly. This can be personal, or it can have something to do with other people that you might be very close to.

When the N Moon is in Aries it is often very personal and may involve goals in life. Something stands in the way of advancement, and it must be dealt with. You may have to start over again with a renewed outlook although it may be emotionally painful. You should review your natal positioning of Pluto as this will have a strong influence on how the energy manifests.

When it comes to Pluto you may have to go with the flow as it is easier to go with the flow of life than to fight against the current. This current is strong enough eventually it will take you with it with or without your consent. We never suggest giving in without a fight, but Pluto’s energies are so powerful and they push us where we need to go. Accept the lesson.

Much will depend on what sign Jupiter is transiting and the sign of your N Moon along with the houses involved in your personal chart on the outcome of T Jupiter square N Moon. Today, T. Jupiter is 28° Pisces. This aspect runs too deep to explored its full meaning, due to each chart’s variables.

Jupiter regardless of aspect still offers opportunities and it has expansive energies which can help lift people out of issues. Jupiter and Saturn however do not get along well especially by challenging aspects so this often imply extra work and difficulties.

When Jupiter is in square to the Moon, the emotions are highlighted. Sensitivity reigns and heightened energy is directed towards any emotional interaction taking place. Jupiter may expand on these feelings and create some difficulties dealing with what is taking place, but in most cases, Jupiter promotes healing if this is what is required under this influence.

In some cases, because the Moon represents the mother, these challenges revolve around her. She may be experiencing some difficult conditions. Perhaps she is at a stage where she needs to change residence due to her age and a retirement home is in order. The Moon can also speak to nurturing and taking care of others or perhaps helping yourself.

The square implies an obstacle but the beauty of a squares is that they are challenging enough they propel you into action and force you to deal with things. For those that choose not to deal with the issue, it will not go away until T Jupiter is out of orb and some conclusive element has been faced.

This can be an emotionally heightened experience and during these times it is important to recognize that life’s events especially those that are difficult are our greatest teachers. Although things may be very challenging something important is being taught.

Your reaction and attitude will tell the story of how you manage these lessons. Do not attempt to ignore these emotional interactions. There needs to be a time of confrontation when we experience and relate to what is taking place before we react and move ahead. Go through the emotions and experience then confront the challenge and deal with it.

We will experience a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on November 8, 2022, at 16° in the second decant of Taurus. A Lunar Eclipse is much more powerful than a Full or New Moon. Some suggest about three times the strength and the energies lasting in months equivalent to the duration of the eclipse in hours. This eclipse will last 4 hours and 12 minutes in Barrie, ON. You will need to be up by 4 a.m. to enjoy the view.

Because it is a Full Moon Eclipse it often entails some type of culmination of events leading to this time in your life. The house position of this Lunar episode will determine the area of life involved. If you have a planet or angle within 3° either by conjunction or opposition of this placement it will influence your life.

Lunar eclipses have an emotional tie to what unfolds and brings forth the reality to any inherent feelings that might have been plaquing or entertaining you in the recent past. I use the term entertaining lightly because in many cases it can reveal inevitable or destined events. This may not be overly difficult but other aspects to this position will tell the story. In many cases, there is no halfway measures about what is taking hold.

There can be developments that might not have been foreseen but it is important to recognize that whatever changes are due are quite necessary and to the point.

Being in the second decant suggests that there is a mixture of Taurean and Virgo energies although the Taurus impact will be the most relevant. Taurus mixed with Virgo suggests that there is a need for stabilization after careful review of the situation. This in turn brings a steadying agent into the picture which over time will produce a much firmer foundation than what was there prior to this event. All the little flaws come to the surface, and you will need to face them even though they have likely been in place for some time. You want to make sure that you are doing the right thing, as change is often not easy to accept, whether it’s favourable or challenging.

T Uranus is conjunct this Lunar Eclipse also at 16° in Taurus, while T Saturn is in square this position at 18° Aquarius. These two powerful influences suggest that there is often something sudden or unexpected about what takes place even if you have had inclinations of what might take hold. These types of energies belong to Uranus, and Saturn squaring this position suggests that there will likely be some challenging conditions attached.

This can feel like a testing period where things become unhinged and what used to be is changed or goes through changes that move you in a whole new direction. These needed changes move you past any restrictions or delays.

What is being harvested now has been in place for some time and the work involved over the past several months might determine how things unfold but understand that these changes are required. This is a culmination point of significance and you should learn to move along with this energy to ensure that nothing is left undone.

From the end of September to early December 2022 and again for most of March 2023 the transits of Neptune and Mars will be making a square to one another. Neptune will remain between 22–25° Pisces while Mars will be within orb of these degrees in Gemini.

This is considered a challenging aspect affecting anyone with their natal planets in these degrees. Of course, the natal aspect plays a significant role as well as the planet or angle being influenced by this square in your chart. A more fortunate delineation of the square suggests that although these energies are working against one another in some manner the energies are strong enough that they often force us into action. We need to act to alleviate these conditions.

Mars is about action and drive and often suggests aggression and force. Mars does not want to be held back with its decisive action which can be suddenly or unexpectedly. In Gemini its action can often be discussions or arguments when in challenging aspect. Sometimes it can be hard to make up our mind as there are many alternatives. This can be frustrating causing inner turbulence or outer confrontations that can be quite hostile and, in some cases, destructive.

Neptune in Pisces is often directed towards the mystical or spiritual in some way. However, it can lead to confusion or clarity can be hampered. There may be a veil of uncertainty involving a particular action or path forward resulting in uncompromising action that can have powerful effects.

Perhaps something stands in the way of our progress aligned with the spiritual path that we have chosen. Perhaps an argument occurs between two individuals that have different perspectives. In many cases those that are advanced in their spiritual beliefs know that there is no need to prove their point or try to make someone move in a particular direction, but at times there is a need to stand up to protect our values. This would be the time best not to push our beliefs on others. Have faith that you do not need to challenge them. The mind can interfere. Doubt and reflection may be part of the picture.

T Jupiter is in conjunction with the N North Node in Aries, until May 17, 2023 with a brief stay in the sign of Pisces currently from October 29 through to December 21, 2022.

Jupiter takes about one year to move through each sign of the horoscope and will react in a different manner as it moves through these signs in accordance with the energies of each sign. However, the energy of Jupiter is the same as it moves through each segment of the chart.

Jupiter is known as the greater benefic and often brings good fortune, favourable conditions and opportunities. The North Node in Aries points towards a path forward that has lessons on self-assertion. Transiting Venus makes a brief conjunction with those who have their Sun in the early degrees of Scorpio when the sun entered Scorpio. From about October 24 to November 6-7, 2022, Venus and the Sun move close to one another in transit until about 12/13° Scorpio. Anyone with their natal Sun within this orb and timeframe may experience a high degree of sensitivity linked to love and affection. This can be a time of more socializing and in some cases romanticizing.

Jupiter and Neptune will both be in Pisces in the later degrees until Jupiter moves into Aries on December 21. Those with their Sun in these areas (roughly 22° for T Neptune and 28° for T Jupiter) will be experiencing the trine from these planets. If you have your Sun in Scorpio in these degrees the potential for spiritual connection is heightened and the door is more open to exploring these areas. This can be attained through meditation, dreams and/or any psychic exploration.

This can be a great time for self-reflection to open doors to unexplored areas, and much can be gained by honest reflection. Neptune can open the doors to perception while Jupiter’s expansive energies can build on what is already there or help to activate these energies. Trines often suggests that things are flowing without interruption and in many cases these doors have been ready to open. You can now move yourself into a situation where this can take place. This is heightened by the sextile from Pluto in Capricorn at the same time. Sextiles suggest opportunities but often need a push from within to activate its positive energies.

The only challenge to these energies will be the square from T Saturn in the same degrees at around the same time frame. T Saturn moves from 18/19° Aquarius to 29° into early March, 2023. Squares from Saturn suggest some struggles and perhaps some delays, setbacks or extra work, but although the square from Saturn suggests hinderance its rewards for hard work and diligent effort is concrete and stands the test of time as we begin to work through its difficulties. Squares are challenging enough that they force us into action.

Much will depend on the houses involved and the rest of the planets being enhanced by transit during this time. A full detailed report is required to get the full picture of the potential but this is the influence suggested by these particular aspects at this time.

We continue yesterday’s post on the Solar Eclipse today. We would like to add that this New Moon/Solar Eclipse, the Sun, Moon, and Venus are all in conjunction. The Solar Eclipse marks a new beginning with Scorpio characteristics. Venus is also tightly conjunct this position at 2° Scorpio, adding its influence of love and affection as part of the overall mixed emotion and sentiment of this important energy.

Venus is very social and adores affection and, in some cases, suggests romance and love affairs. Scorpio in love can be all-in once committed. When Venus is part of the picture (remember this Solar Eclipse will be strong for those involved for at least one year) this is a time of seeking or finding love. Much will depend on the house Scorpio is in within your natal chart.

Venus can also be about finances and the security that financial independence brings. If the 2nd or 8th houses are highlighted, perhaps finances, joint or otherwise, might be involved. Perhaps there could be an inheritance if other indicators also suggest that potential, especially if the 8th house or Pluto are involved. If romance is highlighted, then the 5th or 7th house and perhaps the ascendant might be part of the picture.

Conjunctions merge energies and are considered the strongest aspect in Astrology. Remember a Solar Eclipse can bring sudden changes and new directions which in turn help us evolve moving us towards our destiny. These placements can be very important. Venus adds a gentle nature to what Scorpio often stands for, as often there is nothing halfway about Scorpio. It is all or nothing. Pluto ruling this position adds intensity and transformative energies. This is often the beginning of something new replacing something that no longer serves a purpose.

On October 25, 2022, we will be experiencing a solar eclipse at 2° Scorpio. Those with planets or angles within 3° of this position by conjunction or opposition will be affected most by this event.

With a solar eclipse the Moon moves directly between the Sun and our earth. It often signals a karmic event and in many cases destiny calls. Things are meant to take place in our lives which can often bring us out of our normal comfort zone. Change is on the horizon and it can take several years to be finalized but much takes place the first year. With a Solar eclipse the changes that begin to take hold can begin as much as a month prior to the actual event although the timing of the event is often the most intense period and can last as long in years as the eclipse lasts in hours and minutes. If a Solar Eclipse lasts one hour from beginning to end the time its energies are activated is one year. With minutes, 15 minutes equals 3 months. (This eclipse should last approx. 45 minutes but please note, it is not visible in North America.)

Often quick and unexpected change occurs that pushes us towards our destiny’s path. It initiates new beginnings that are fated to take place. These can be major life events. Somethings comes to an end for something new to begin. In many cases we are not prepared for what happens and could never have planned for it although there may have been signs that something was about to enhance our lives and the change was due.

With eclipse being in the sign of Scorpio (the house position will vary with each chart) it often brings something to the surface that needs to be deal with. This can be of a sexual nature and is deep and reflective bringing transformation and ending old outworn conditions. This is a new path, and it is best to surrender and go with the flow. Fighting the process may not be a good idea as this needs to happen.

Depending on the other aspects to this placement it can mean that what is unfolding can bring happiness or challenging conditions to your life. The way you choose to look at what is taking place and how you deal with it will define how you experience what is evolving.

On October 23, 2022 the Sun moves from Virgo a mutable, earth sign into Scorpio a fixed, water sign. Fixed energy is just that, fixed in its opinions, not easy to move from one belief structure to another and trusts in its own decision making.

The Scorpio motto deals with the desire to dig deep and uncover life’s mysteries, to explore the self in particular those things which may be considered taboo, hence its motto, “I Desire” finds its place in the typical Scorpio character.

They are known for being passionate and in some cases even lustful. There are the few that give Scorpio a bad rap. These individuals, however, are the more unevolved known as the Scorpion while the more evolved are known as the eagle or phoenix.

Most Scorpio individuals have a strong, often secretive character and can be quite loyal to those they love. They often have a powerful disposition and deep stare which seems to penetrate deep into the core of others. They likely see more than they reveal, and many have strong belief in things that are hidden. The occult and mystical practice can be high on their list of want-to-know. They are the seekers of truth and will find what they are looking for.
